Chat Plugin Peoblem!

I am having problems on my macbook and my windows laptop. Neither will let me use the chat feature up top. I have installed adobe and the plugins but I have not figured out what the deal is. The ironic thing is, I am actually a computer tech as well.

If anybody has had this problem and has fixed this problem, please inform me.

This app doesn't use flash, it's Java. Maybe that's the issue?
