I'm going to be in the Charleston, SC area 4th of July week and was wondering how the diving off the coast is there. I've heard about the black water diving (in the rivers) not really interested in that. What about off the coast. Are there some descent wrecks, etc.? What charters operate there?... I only found one so far and I'm sure there many more.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

I have also been looking at diving in Charleston. My parents live out there. I have been doing a little research and I did find one Charter service out there. If you go to their charter section they have a short description abou the diffrent dive sites. There a lot of wrecks and artificial reefs out there it seems.
