I think one of the Truth boats is headed out Friday morning (the 20th) for the weekend to the north islands, which may be a little early for your schedule.

You mentioned that the Truth boats' schedules don't work for you, but if that changes you should consider them as well. I did a 3-day on the Conception last August to the southern islands, and it was a fantastic trip despite getting booted off San Clemente Island by the Navy - they were about to begin aerial bombing exercises in the area :11: (that would have been fun to watch).

Another vote for the Peace. My first time on it they took inside Painted Cave on Santa Cruz, what an experience. I think Captain Eric likes to stay away from the typical spots like goldfish bowl, which the spectre has hit every time I have been on it and is probably the most borring site on the islands.

I have tried twice to get on the Conception but both times they cancelled the trip due to lack of diver interest. That I can understand, the thing that bugs me is that they cancelled the trips a week before. You're probably going to book more the week before than any other time. WHATEVER!
