Change in quality of the Full Foot Mares Volo Race Fins

Hi all,

I have used Mares Volo Race fins for the better part of 7 years and absolutely love them. I just bought a new pair from Mares and I noticed a major difference.
1) the 9 1/2-10 1/2 size that have always been a perfect fit, are now Too tight!
2) the foot cup feels stiff hard and cheap, compared to the soft rubber that was always super comfortable and flexible
3)I don't remember them being made in Bulgaria. (the Volo Powere fins are still made in Italy).

I called Mares and one guy said said nothing has changed and the next guy said he has no idea and that they aren't given this information.

Anyone have any info on this? Or anything to add?
