The worst thing I had to go through was att my Doc's office because the CG kicked the Physical form because the doctor missed 2 boxes that needed checking. Getting the form back to the doctor and getting those boxes checked with his signature took 2 weeks. Word to the wise: Check the form to make sure the doctor did it right before you send in your application.

While renewing my license, my Doctor actually fibbed about the hearing test and held up the process for a couple weeks. Most Dr offices do not have the equipment needed to test the hearing as per the application requirements. Yep Skippers, I agree that the paperwork is overly scrutinized and being made more difficult than ever. BTW- I have never needed to use my TWIC card. Has anyone here?

Yup, I need my TWIC all the time. They require it at a lot of the docks and ports my tug goes to.
