We squeaked past $135,000!!!
We are led this time by a pair of $1,000 Gold donations. The first is from Reef Seekers Dive Co. which – in the interest of full disclosure – is the dive operation that I own and operate. We’ve acted as Chamber Day HQ for over 30 years now and so this campaign has always had a personal touch for us as well as wanting to support our Chamber. And we’re glad to have been able to help all of these years with both our time and our money.
Our second Gold donor is a repeat donor. Barbara Allen has made another $1,000 donation but this time in memory of Roy Hauser, founder of Truth Aquatics. Her previous donation was in memory of Roger Hess, founder of Charisma charters. Both Roy and Roger were really pioneers and titans of what’s come to be known as “California-style” liveaboard diving and we’re grateful that Barbara has chosen to honor their legacies.
We’re five days away. We have a reasonable chance to exceed last year’s record-setting Challenge total but we can’t do it without your help. As you’ll see below, ALL donations, regardless of size, move us forward and help keep our Chamber going.
