Spring has sprung!!! But now we need to get you to spring and support you Chamber. We slowed down a bit last week but hopefully we can resume our momentum and pick up the pace.

The good news since we last updated is that we have welcomed a former contributor back into the fold. Laurie Powers is an inactive instructor and actually stopped diving almost 20 years ago. But she’s decided to get back into things and understands the value of having a Chamber handy. So she’s coming back to us in a big way with a Gold-level $1,000 contribution. (She says it’s the same as if she’d made a $50 donation each year for the last 20 years.) We’re happy to have her back and appreciate her support.

Another person who understands the value of our Chamber is Sean Eckley, who’s in at the Silver level with a $500 donation. Sean’s is a DSO (Dive Safety Officer) at the Aquarium of the Pacific specifically dealing with Aquarium dives and divers in the ocean and Sean definitely appreciates the fact that our Chamber will be there 24/7/366 should the need arise.

We’re closing in on $50,000 and hopefully on our way to a new record for the Challenge this year. We’ve got a little over five weeks to go but there are still a lot of you who contributed last year who we haven’t heard from . . . yet . . . this year. So how about it? Who’s next?
