We're tantalizingly close to $20,000!!! Who will get us over that hump?
Getting us this close was partly the work of the good folks at Scuba.com who once again come through with a Gold-level $1,000 donation. And right behind them are Maja Vrvilo, Jim Krasne, and Christine Rybak and there are interesting stories there.
Scuba.com obviously understands that their customers could one day need our Chamber and want to help keep it going. Jim doesn't get a chance to dive much anymore but understands the need to support our Chamber for his diving friends. Maja gets to dive both here and in Hawaii and understands that sometimes lessons learned at Catalina can be shared with other chambers. And Christine's donation of $250 is being matched by her employer (ConocoPhillips) to take her to $500 and underscores how those employer matching grants really help us along.
And not to be forgotten on the Bronze level, the guys and gals from Barnacle Busters decided to double their donation from $100 to $200.
These folks, and all of those who donated before them, understand how vital contributions to the Chamber Challenge are to the well-being of our Chamber and our diving community. How about you? Will you pitch in to help? Who will help push us past to $20,000?
