CHAMBER CHALLENGE 2010 - UPDATE #1 - $2,500 (posted 3/9/10 - last updated 3/9/10)
We're hoping for another big year for Chamber Day and specifically for the Chamber Challenge. In these uncertain economic times, it's hard to predict what the future holds for events like ours. But we hope those of you who care about our Chamber can dig deep once again, and help us provide the financial security net that our Chamber - and we - need.
And we're off to a nice start.
We start off with our joint $1000 Gold donors, Laurie Kasper & Ken Kurtis. We follow that up with Silver donor Karl Huggins. Two of those names should not only sound familiar to you, but should also underscore that while Karl & Ken will (especially Ken) will be 'encouraging" you to be generous with your support of our Chamber this year, both Karl & Ken talk the talk and walk the walk. And they're very happy to be in the first wave of donors.
We've also got a $250 (Bronze) donation in memory of Robert W. Myers. And it's appropriate for us to point out that over the years, people have - either as individuals or groups - donated to remember a loved diver no longer with us. We privileged to honor their memory and pleased to be able to offer some level of official recognition.
But a good start doesnt do us as much good as sustained momentum and a strong finish. So . . . Whos next? Who will help push past $5000?
