Just spent a week in Puerto Vallarta getting my OW certification. Now I understand.I get it.
Prior to my first OW dive I was somewhat apprehensive about going under.Once under the water though, I truly was in a new world. The first dive was at the Majauitas, known for its population of Mantas. I was not disappointed and saw two juveniles gliding overhead, thousands of fish, sleeping sea turtles, etc, etc.
The amount of life in a square metre of rock and coral is astounding.Very enlightening for someone who has spent almost their entire life landlocked on the Canadian prairies. I had the pleasure of diving with Captn Kurt and Diver Dennis over the week that I was there. Thanks Guys!!!!
I will be returning to PV over Easter next year for two weeks and my two daughters
( 13 and 17) are very interested in getting their OWC. My wife will be happy to snorkel
as going deep does not interest her.
Thanks to Eric,Jasmine,Junior and Tony of Twin Dolphins for guiding me through the most awesome sights in the Bay de Banderas.
