Censorship and SB..how far are we going to take this???

This board has changed quite a bit over the last 6 years. Some of that change was motivated by threads like this. This board has become a business. Busnisses that do what they can to accomodate customers' wants and needs do better than those that are quick to say" don't let the door hit you in the ass".

but if someone keeps coming in and breaking the display and trashing the counters, the store calls the police and bans the idiot from coming back

that's the real distinction i wish management could make

i'm tired of being treated (of all of us being treated) as potential display and counter trashers just because a few people do that

target the ones that do. deal with them.

leave me alone to have fun with my friends, which is why i come here in the first place

It really doesn't matter if one has paid or not. I got kicked off a paid site for saying something the owners objected to and while I didn't appreciate it, I understand that's the way it is. My objection came in the form of a cancelled membership -- not whining about about free speech.

If not, you have no grounds to complain. There's nothing wrong with asking for change, but the owners have every right to run this site the way they want to, just like you have every right to run your home, business, life the way you want to. Saying anything else is just air-brained hypocrisy.

As one who reads more than posts it seems there is a vocal group that may be expressing desires of more than they appear to be. There are many who read without writing for a variety of reasons.

Run a poll for an opt in forum, maybe the lurkers will reply

Let's apply your logic to your home or business. Do think someone should be able to come into your home or business and say whatever they want to your wife, kids, employees?

I said there's nothing wrong with asking for change. I have no problem with that, but after a point when the owners have decided how they want to run their own site, you must decide if you accept it or reject it. It's not love it or leave it -- it's accept it or reject it. That is called maturity.
