The Pit rocks! It's my favorite cenote by far.
In answer to your query about how PonDeRosa got it's name.....it was originally explored by Tony and Nancy DeRosa (and others), owners of Aquatech/Villa DeRosa.
The DeRosa's were on some of the early exploration teams of many of the systems in QR.
