To be honest many dive ops in Cayman have been struggling this past year. We had crappy weather (super windy) during some weeks that need to be money makers. Losing those weeks is hard. In addition the cost of actually doing business in Cayman has being growing (WPs, insurance, etc), but the prices for actual dives has not kept pace as guests do look for competitive pricing when when choosing destinations especially for a dive centric holiday. The arrival of Covid-19 during high season was the final kick in the pants. It is very sad to see it actually happen, but this will be the first of many and probably not limited to our little part of The Caribbean.
