In November 2016 the Cayman Islands National Museum on Grand Cayman opened a 1-year exhibit on the history, equipment, and legends of scuba diving. We will be back on Grand Cayman in October and I am looking forward to seeing this collection, see the links below:

No, they were founded in Cayman; I don't know if there is a similar organization in the US
