You pay for your alcohol, they take it from you for free.

But you know that when you land in Gcm you have to clear customs and go through security again to get to your connecting flight and you know you can’t take a bottle of alcohol through security.

A lot of people don't realize that they have to go thru security again.

If security had told him to check the alcohol in or let him pour the alcohol out on the ground without threatening to arrest the guy, I might agree with you.
