on a cayman airways flight from jfk to brac with a change on GC do you clear customs on GC or brac and on GC do I have to exit and go back thru security or do I just go to departures for the connecting flight?

I assuming I don’t have to get my bags on GC and check them in again but let me know if this is incorrect

Looking at a CA flight that arrives GC 1 pm with a 2:30 departure for brac,

Thanks

Last month I deplaned at GCM, went through immigration, got my immigration card and then back through Cayman airport security to re-board. Bags were checked through to Brac and because the bags were screened in the USA, no need to pick them up and recheck. If the kisoks are working the entire time to clear immigrations should not be more than 10-15 mins. They still are asking for the paper form too.

Enjoy the Brac!

Thanks. 10-15 mins? I am guessing you didn't arrive on a Sat or with any flights ahead of you.

It was a Monday and there were three flights that arrived about the same time, but almost every booth was staffed. It was also a government holiday that Monday, so maybe everyone wanted to work for the holiday pay.
