King's isn't really worth it. It was a nice dive after the manatee snorkel, but I wouldn't pay to just dive King's.

There wasent a fee to dive Kings spring when I was there, but its in the middle of the river. The dive shop at the Port hotel[where Elvis once stayed]rents pontoon boats. You can see King spring from the shop.Paradise is about 30 bucks to dive, same for Blue Grotto and devils den, which are only a few miles apart.Ginnie is 25 bucks,Manatee is cheaper but you might need a dolly from the parking lot.Blue springs[volusia county]is also cheaper[state park]but a long walk in the water to the headspring.

There wasn't a fee for me either. I don't see a point in paying a boat rental fee or a for a shop to take me out to the cavern unless I'm planning on doing something else out there.

It wouldnt be a hard swim from the bank with a flag but Im not sure theyll let you do it.We did rent a pontoon boat and dove it,then rpde all over Kings Bay only to realize that king was really the only one worth diving, but we had fun.

Buford is a drive, but the best cavern in the state. Just remember accident analysis rule #4 (depth) when diving there.

I wonder if that can be argued by someone who's dived more of them :) Buford definately isn't the largest, but its big, that much is for sure! :D

I'm not saying its not the best either, I've yet to dive it myself(its high on my list). I've been running across a few big ones lately though, and cavern zones which connect multiple sinks(as in a cavern zone traverse - LOL) and know of several other large caverns that I haven't visited yet.

I know of one that is bigger and closed to the public in tally, but it would be hard as heck to keep something much larger a secret. Dropping down to 80ft, and being at the TOP of a cavern that's 140ft deep is simply amazing. Lots of the dive you'll have more cavern than light :11:
