I was on the dive. So this is first hand information. The diver was definitely trained with decades of experience. The reports of myself and the other buddy being rescued are incorrect. One buddy exited the cave to call for help and I stayed behind trying to assist however lost him in a silt out twice. I do not know what exactly happened to cause diver to become unresponsive nor does anyone at this point.
I'm sorry that happened to you

Sounds like Edd added two more saves to his list of accomplishments.
nope, the two survivors self rescued, one was out and called for help, the other that survived was met by Mehdi when he went in the cave to search and survivor was making to exit on own

I was one of the “ saved” persons .. however I was never lost or trouble . My friend was definitely a trained cave diver.
sorry for the loss of your friend and I hope you are doing OK.

Can you enlighten us on the rest of the details or are we not privy to that information?
