HAHAHA, schedule with him?? yea right!!

Pat is a top notch instructor but it's virtually impossible to schedule with him now. I don't think he's taking any more students.

I just realized it but you (Rick M.) were in my Apprentice class! I'm Rob. How ya doin?

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard anything about the cave diving instructors John Orlowski and Paul (or Jill) Heinerth (aside from Wendy)? Thanks.

Josh

I have a good buddy that did Apprentice and Full with Jill and was very happy with the class.

I also know a lot of people who did Cave with Larry Green and were all very happy with him as well. I'm thinking of taking a scooter class with him myself.

My instructor was Pat Watson and is a great instructor but is not taking students (as far as I know) right now.

Total Garbage 10000 dives (where in his bathtub?) . Diving every day there Gary are you? It obvious 'stretches of the truth' that need to clue you into looking in another direction quick.

Tyler Moon is your man whether you want TDI/GUE/NACD/NSS-CDS

He has been the most active instructor producing the best students over the last five years (BTW JJ was my Cave instructor if there seems to be a personal conflict issue with this reference)

Check on the rest and then hook up with the best!

I've heard only good things about Jill. I would also recommend Gary Taylor. He's an IANTD board member and teaches at the Dive Outpost at the Peacock System. There are few instructors who can match Gary's experience. He's a good choice if you're looking for an instructor who has an easy going personality, isn't rigid about any one gear configuration and is serious about safety.

His website is at: http://members.aol.com/DIVEONMIX/

I to am looking for an instructor to start my cave traing with. The only one I have talked to so far in person is Gary Taylor and he sounds like a good guy.

I had Larry Green as my Instructor. I can't say enough good things about him. He was very thorough and it was quite the course. I am sure that there are quite a few good instructors out there. Just get one that you a comfortable with.

Danny Riordan and Christophe Le Maillot are wonderful instructors working out of Mexico. www.zerogravity.com.mx

What about Steve Gerrard in Mexico? My OW instructor (Lee Somers) spoke very highly of him in the mid-90s, but I'm not sure what's happened since...
