Cave Diving Ginnie & Little River with Mel Clark (with photos)

I had the pleasure of diving with Mel Clark while she finished up a Cave CCR class this past weekend up at Little River and Ginnie.



When we arrived at Little River Saturday we had the cave to ourselves. Diving were Mel (rEvo), students Jeff (Prism) and Tim (Inspiration), Pete (rEvo), and me (Sport Kiss). Sunday, we went to Ginnie and added Kevin on his Kiss Classic so we had a wide variety CCRs in the caves. Everyone had a great time. Congratulations to the newest CCR cave divers -- Jeff and Tim. Thanks to Mel for letting me tag along and to Kevin for a great "fossil tour" at Ginnie.

Thanks for posting the images. How was the flow at Little River? I wish we had headed there on Sunday vs. Manatee - oh well.

Flow at Little River wasn't bad except for dragging my big DSLR Camera with two huge strobes through it!!!

Ed -- I'm thinking about going on one of Bert Wilcher's trips this year or next. It would be fun to join you.

Perrone -- Sorry we missed you. Mel is going to be back in Florida in April and I'm hoping to dive with her then. Maybe we can get together.

Gee, I can remember how little acceptance I got on the Dive Matrix when I suggested this 2 years ago. CCRs aren't going away, and learning to dive with RB divers is important for safety's sake.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing!! As to Bert's trips, he uses an awesome guide!! My buddy and I have been on 9 trips with her (another booked for December) and she is first rate!
