Growing up in KS I know that lakes are typically just really runny mud pools. Spending a year at K-state and watching the great flood of '93 I remember a few things about being back there. Was neat watching Tuttle Creek top out.
So today I was looking up some river stuff and came across http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Blue_River_(Kansas) and read an interesting line. "bulldozers left to rust underneath the flooded area". Which did get me curious. Anyone know where they are? Anyone ever find them? I do remember enough about the lake, being farm field run off the visibility is about as good as used diesel oil.
