Does anyone have experience with the summer programs run by Guided Discovery, Inc at the Catalina Island Marine Institute or their summer version, Catalina Sea Camp? I'm specifically looking for info on their diving programs for my son, who is eager to get certified. Any feed back from those that have been there on their overall impression of the program and camp is appreciated too.

Thanks!

Rob.

Guided Discoveries took over our lease at Toyon Bay in 1979. We thought they'd fold in a year or two. Much to our surprise, and pleasure, they have succeeded very well. Their programs are fantastic from everything I hear (students, teachers and parents). My nephew attended Sea Camp four years ago and is now an avid diver.

I would recommend them highly.

Shoot me an email at 00surly AT gmail DOT com. A buddy of mine was a teacher/counselor there and just got back from their alumni weekened. I'll provide you his contact info.
