I was out at Catalina with a couple friends for some "fun diving" and for testing some equipment for 100m+ dives. We had really nice visibility and went to Little Farnsworth followed by the Valiant (I can't go on a dive trip and not see some rust).

I was testing off board O2, larger drysuit inflation tanks & brackets, and a music player for long deco. Results of the testing and, of course, plenty of pictures are posted at:

We really did have nice vis. Here is a picture of the bow of the Valiant and a scene from Little Farnsworth. Sorry for the low res pictures below but I can't seem to figure out how to post higher res version on SB but rest assured the ones on my website are better.

Unless you were using some really wide lens which will clean up the water, that's REALLY great vis at both places. Unfortunately, the incoming storm is probably going to negate all of that, but nice that you were able to experience it this weekend.

They were all shot with a Sony a6400 in a Nauticam housing with the WWL-C wet lens. So, definitely wide angle but even with the Big Blue 15k lights I was using, there was very little backscatter.

Here is the same photo of the bow straight out of the camera and absolutely no changes from Lightroom:

Thanks Brett. I love the music setup. Going to have to look into for when I'm jamming around on the DPV.
