Thanks, Sam! As you well know, we're all just waiting for you to join us out here for some trips. :)

 Yes, I know I am overdue for a west coast dive trip. I will definitely let you know once I know. :D

Hmmm, interesting that you got 54F on all three dives....I had 51F, 50F, and 48F!!

I was bummed that we didn't get to dive the Fog (and look for the wolf eel!) or the rigs, but pretty stoked about diving Blue Caverns again! Conditions weren't the greatest, but we had a really nice time.

Plus, the boat was nice and spacious with fewer people than normal ;)

Actually, I just made up the temperature so I could add to Rainer's dive report. :dontknow: I actually never looked at my computer or Senus to see what the actual temperature was as I never actually felt cold during any of the 3 dives. However, with you getting a reading of 48, I will have to go check now.

Lol, well at least we know who not to turn to for the group's trip reports! :rofl3:

I think I had 53-54F on all three dives, but I wasn't checking too closely.

Jealous. Tsunami leftovers wouldn't even let us out of the harbor...

As we're loading the boat, Blackwood texts me to say you guys were blown out. We had a couple of open spots due to last minute cancellations, so I told him to just drive down to San Pedro and hop on. He didn't exactly have the best gas for the dives we were doing (21/35, and a lot of it, but he made it work) and his scooter was broken (but we fixed it on the boat ride out to Catalina), so all worked out. :)

There used to be an adult and juvenile wolfeel on the wreck, but once we removed the nets they left. There are a few on the nearby engine wreck, which is probably from the Fog wreck.

The times I looked at my computer, it said somewhere in the 51-53F range....but when I actually looked at the log, there must have been cold spots somewhere in there that it sensed. Either way, I like saying I can dive in water in the 40's....makes me feel less wussy ;)

Darn, I was hoping to see the wolf eel (found an old dive report from a dive you and some buddies did and saw the pics of the wolf eel). I love eels....and seeing a wolf eel in socal would be a real treat :D
