I am sitting at home, two weeks post shoulder surgery, so all I can do is drool and wait a bunch of weeks before putting gear on again.

Looking at the map somebody linked to on the Ft. Wetherill thread, and peeking just across the channel, there are some great looking features over by Castle Hill Cove in Newport. What is the word on that? A quick browse of this site did not turn anything up (perhaps just my technique . . .).

Here is the view of the map I was looking at:
Castle Hill Cove and Surrounds

Cheers.

I believe the wall might even go down to near 200 ft. I belive shops only dive down to 130' max as part of the dive plan and for safety reasons. You do have to be careful messing with these depths on a wall dive and be sure to be properly weighted and watch your gages. Parking is a problem in this area.
