Is a shade canopy allowed at Casino Point?

I'm not talking about your average ginormous EZ-Up... there's no way I'm carrying that in.

I'm thinking about making a couple of break-apart, PVC/towel walls for shade. They would be anchored by my very sturdy/heavy dive box and (if I get a wall spot) the short seat/wall that lines the paved area.

Planning to spend 4th of July weekend on the island and thought it would be worth my while to make it (I'll be going for more diving pretty regularly from now on)

I'm guessing yes as I have seen a few of the EZ Ups there. A lot of those tent-like cabanas too. Good idea for your shade.

Cheers!

Great! This is the kind of feed back I was hoping for.

Guess I'm going to Home Depot on Sunday :D

Don't forget about the plentiful and less expensive shore diving here on the mainland. No shuttle, just drive and dive.

Rakkis, everything is cool as long as you go through the two year process of applying for a construction permit, doing the EIR, etc. Just teasing... I've seen them there before and no one has complained (except when they weren't allowed in, too). Enjoy the weekend!
