My housemate is in charge of the fitness center in the Casino building at Catalina's dive park. She is constantly having to clean up water and trash from divers who use the entrance to the fitness center to change in.

Please do not do this. There are signs posted asking divers not to, but people ignore them and then get nasty when she asks them (rightly so) to leave. She has to mop up the water, and throw out the trash which some inconsiderate divers leave there, because the water is a safety hazard.

Please use the bathrooms to do your changing. If you want to get in a more sheltered area, go into the alcoves in the Casino building which do not have open entrances. That will give you some protection.

I've watched some divers hassle her because she is asking them to do what they are supposed to do: heed the signs and stay out of the entrance. It is private property and not part of the dive park.

Thanks!

Some people don't think the rules apply to them & those are the ones that ruin it for the rest of us.

John, Bill I second that. We need to be more considerate of others, both in and out of the water.

Most divers are pretty considerate. This is targeted at the few who think their excrement doesn't irritate nostrils?
