Several of us will be at the Dive Park this Saturday - Stop by and say hello! We will be under a big Easy Up.:D

I hope the water temp is up a little as I found a bad section of neck seal on my lovely brides neck seal so we will both be diving wetsuits. ;)

Brrrrr!!!! Have fun with that ;)

I did my first wetsuit dive in well over a year and a half just a few weeks ago....next time I don't have a drysuit, I'll be taking a dry spell (I'm a huge wuss :D).

Hope you have great conditions!

Wasn't going to bring the camera but now I am! But I'm with you on the water temps since I always dive wet. We'll do the "here come's the sun" dance when we get there.

Ah come on Nicole, diving wet does have its advantages. Wait - let me think, I know there are some - hmmm - ah screw it, it will be fun no matter what!:rofl3:

It's quicker to get dressed. And you're more streamlined. That's about it. ;)

Have a great time! Look forward to hearing about your trip. We head there next Friday.

I stopped by Sharkys and picked up a flash for Marian's camera and a core warmer, she should be nice and tosty while she plays with her new toy. ;)

Dave and group,
I have a freebe round trip to Avalon, so I'm jumping on the 8:30 returning @ 3:45...see you all there. I'm hoping for warmer temps as my wetsuit is getting too big for me:D

It will be good to dive with you again Dave!

Sure, back kicking is easier in a wetsuit....

Staying warm is definitely not easier ;)

That said, the majority of people are probably not nearly as wussy as I am....so I'm sure you'll have a great time and probably be comfortable even!

I can sympothize with this. I'll be at Casino Point tomorrow in a wetsuit, too. I'll tell you something, after doing 50+ dives in a drysuit, hopping into a wetsuit is not fun at all. I think I was nigh close to a heat stroke on the surface a few weeks ago and nearly hypothermic at depth just minutes later. My tolerance for cold has significantly dropped since diving dry, but, I've been dry for 3 weeks and at this point I'll do anything to get back into the water (except diving naked)
