Is anyone here going on any of their trips? The introductory rate is great right now. I've never been on any of the Dancer fleet trips....any reviews or recommendations?
Thanks!

Hmmmm......good point....I dove with Aqua Cat last year and was really impressed when the captain "parked" the boat for the night between these two little cays that might have only been 30 feet on either side of the boat, and he did it in the dark! Well, if they start ops in May hopefully by August they'll know their way around.

Hiring a captain for the Bahamas isn't too tough. The Bahamas is only served by what, 10 or so liveaboards?

So, do captains jump around from boat to boat?

A better question might be "Do boat owners recruit captains with knowledge and skills they need to operate their boat?" just like any other company. The answer is yes, it's the only way captains get raises, or get to see new territory, or any of the other reasons any employee might seek a new opportunity.

Never done the Carib Dancer but mgmt at Aggressor Fleet and Dancer Fleet understand how word spreads like wildfire and how quick people are to judge - I'm sure they're going to do everything in their power to make this boat great....plus they just re-furbished the whole boat so I'm sure it'll be great.

Wayne was kind enough to give me a tour of the boat while in the boatyard in Ft. Myers. Oh, the possibilities.... It is really coming out well, I think.

I'm booked on the June 2-9 trip. Never been to the Bahamas and this will be my first "diving" liveaboard... first one was just a cage diving trip. I'm looking forward to it for sure.
