I just don't log dives
Just a FYI. Did two dives on Cantarell today. Group of two rays on the first dive and three on the second. Not like years gone by. Very nasty currents blowing out.

We were there about a week ago, and saw one group of three off the wall, then one single one in the "shallows" (50-60 feet) The single one was looking for food and my buddy and I hung out with her for about 20 minutes. No nasty currents that day, just the usual.

So THAT's how you're telling it, huh? HAHAHAHAHAHA! She was awesome. Glad you were there and enjoyed our fine visit with her. :poke:

someone posted here, or on FB, that the ray season was pretty much over as far as the big groups up north. that was at least 2 weeks ago or so.

But one of the better sightings I've been told about this season happened last week. Feet on the ground is a better info source. (Or fins on feet in Cozumel.)
No really big groups this year, according to divers and me on the wall. 14 is largest I've heard this year.

where is Cantarell wall dive? I've missed it every trip.

thanks Prop Joe.... now I know.
