I just don't log dives
I tried to sell it with cams, without cams; I kept lowering the price, but just can't get rid of it, and I'm tired of it taking up room in my house. I'm making this offer first to the GLWC. If none of you take advantage of it, I'm going to the "General Discussion" threads. Here it is:

I've got an Ocean Images UW housing that is custom made for the old Sony TR81 Hi8 Cam. I have sold the cams; both needed minor repairs; probably why nobody was interested in the system to buy. This was my first UW system and I have since moved on. The housing has never had a drop of water inside for all the years I've owned it. It controlled the cam via lanc connection; all the controls were push-button on the right handle. At the least, one of you might be able to modify the interior for your digital---put it in, turn it on, push the record button, button her up and go shoot an hour's worth of UW video. Maybe you can have better luck than me and try and sell it yourself---good luck. I'm GIVING it away!!! Here's how you can get your hands on it: PM me, let me know where you live, and I'll tell you what the shipping cost will be to you; or PM me that you want the housing and then show up at the GLWC Fall M & G on Sept. 28 at Gilboa Quarry, and I will hand it over to you---I even have some filters and lenses with it if you want. First serious PM gets the housing. I would include some picts if I could only remember how to upload them to this message; It always tells me my file is too big and I don't know how to shrink it. However, You can't lose. Hope to hear from somebody.

I figured it out. Here is a pict. However, Jchoby said he will be at the M & G and wants the housing. You gotta be fast when it's free!

Hmm, noticed the controls and it says "Dolphin" on it. That is a model of OI housing but it sure isn't a Dolphin, I've got one.

Hi crpntr133,

Maybe your Dolphin is a newer model. I purchased this one back in the early 90's when Ocean Images was still located in New Jersey. That's gotta be 10-12 years+ ago. It did a great job for me over the years, but since then I have moved to digital and an Amphibico housing, and now I'm thinking HD. Have a great day.
