Thanks okidoki and bubbleblower - having phoned Canon et al, I will probably get the rings from Japan. Registered shipping is another 1700yen, so I will probably buy two.

Now if Inon represent themselves in South Africa, then I may be tempted to buy a strobe from them too.

In the Uk you pay £5.00 per O-ring not bad at all I think
