canon housing/ ys25 strobe

i flooded my dx3000,looking at the g9 and canon housing. can i use my ys 25 auto strobe and mounting bracket on that housing. or do i have to buy a different strobe,bracket.or am i better off buying the ikelite housing, there's a big price difference there.

You can certainly use the YS-25 with the G9 housing. Position the fiber cable over the housing's flash.

The Ikelite housing has a 67mm thread on the front and also a sync port. You won't be able to do Auto TTL or add extra lenses.
