Canon G7 - Any comments or users?

Hi all,

I've seen that Canon has recently put out the G7 10Mpx camera & it looks like a strong contender for a good underwater setup & prosumer camera in general. As well, Ikelite has put out the 6147 G7 underwater housing to match! ...apparently on Dec 10, 2006.

I was wondering if there are any users out there who have tested out this camera & particularly, underwater! And what comments they have about it.

The oddest thing is that ikelite.com says that the housing cannot control the self-timer & continuous shooting mode button, but pics on the site, clearly show a housing for that button (as far as compariing camera & housing pics over the web!!).

I will be asking the ikelite source directly this question too.....but any user comments would be much much appreciated....

Also, have any of the users used it with add-on wet lenses? Which ones work & how does it compare (if you know) to other housing setups?
