I'm late to the party here, but I'm a big fan.
Nauticam greatly reduced the price of the housing since release, and I recently saw a Nauticam housing listed on Facebook for sale. I've can't say enough great things about the R50.

My "new to me" Canon R50 arrived yesterday more for land photography. I'll try a buddy's SeaFrogs housing for his Canon R50 he's used it on 3 trips with no problems so far except the Canon R50 pop up flash stops tripping past about 15 -20' 
He has a promise from SeaFrogs they're reworking the housing to ensure the pop up flash fires out for the molded ports so strobes can be used. He mainly has been using a strong video light and it works pretty well!
The SeaFrogs housing is significantly cheaper than the super nice Nauticam NA-R50 housing.
FYI - Due likely to yearly and production cost price increases (or possible impending tariffs since they're made in Hong Kong) the Nauticam NA-R50 housing alone is now $1,845.00. The PRO kit with Flexitray handles, tray and I believe vacuum valve installed is $2,320.00 now. About a 25% increase....
Time will tell if I use my Canon R50 underwater or stick with my Canon G7X II compact 1" sensor 20 megapixel camera which has produced great pics for me since 2016.

Pool tests tomorrow with my own Nauticam NA-R50 housing and Canon R50 camera.
My friend with the same set up has a Nauticam WWL-B super wide lens and dual Inon S220 strobes I tested for him last summer.
Will try a video light for some stills and an old wide angle lens (certainly not up to the Nauticam WWL-B sharpness) plus maybe some macro experiments.
