I only can confirm that according the feedback I got from the members of our club Club Subaquatique CERN - Scuba Club who went Oct/Nov 2006 & 2007 that only Wolf & Darwin makes it worth to travel so far from Europe.

Not to beat a dead horse, but have your sources at Subaquatique extensively dove the Galapagos both on liveaboard as well as land based?

Not many people have. I think that a ride on the charter you offer would be a delight, but I'm just talking straight fact from considerable experience.

My most (non-too recent) report: Doc 's Galapagos Trip 2002

It's a darned long 250 mile ride on a bouncy liveaboard at 14mph each way, there and back. Fast boats, really fast ones- they can make it in 15 hours under ideal conditions. That's a 30 hour cruise at high speed. The Sky Dancer is what? 18 hours?

There are good and not so good points to each option. At $3500 on the Sky Dancer you can see Wolf and Darwin, for about 40% of that you can do land based.... where your bed isn't rocking.

I've seen all the big stuff by land based trips. Oh, and I agree- I can't get but a handful of people to come with me. Most all the rest gotta go to Wolf and Darwin via liveaboard.

I hope you sell your two left over spots, but everyone should understand the absolute facts.
