Congrats Canada on a great win. My only problem with it is the little whiner who scored the winning goal. The kid is good but he whines like a little school girl.

It turned out to be pretty darn good after all. I know some of us were worried about being denied access to dive sites and having other lesser disruptions in our lives, like not being able to get to work. Reality was we did have access to all our dive sites and on the one time I went downtown I was able to drive in less painful traffic than say... Miami or Los Angeles and park just a block away from Robson St. I've never seen sooo many people walking around downtown.

It's interesting to see how the mild pre-olympic disenchantment with politicians scamming tickets, going over budget and leaving us in debt, the ominous spectre of an overcrowded unlivable 2 weeks, evolved into a pretty good experience overall.
