Can you trick or treat underwater?

There aren't a whole lot of doors to approach underwater and when strange fish start offering you candy, you're just a tad too deep.
 
Is that all you need in order to sign up? I think I can arrange a chocolate or two - if you dress up! How about spear-diving, then having a catch-of-the-day dipped in chocolate? Or better yet - chocolate and lobster! Who can beat that?!
