I just got this light on trade, and I was wondering if someone could possibly ID the manufacturer.

Thanks,

That's what I was originally thinking. Then I saw a Rat light that looked really similar except the body wasn't smooth.

Anyways, I was just currious. It throws a decent beam for a backup so it should work.

Barry Miller Scout Lights

So an old Salvo light I assume. That being the case it'll be quite old. I have no idea as to light module but you could probably update to latest LightMonkey or Halcyon(?) LED module if you wanted the latest and greatest.

Why it looks old ? You just bought these days ?

I traded some gear I wasn't using for it. It was used when I got it.

I was considering eventually upgrading the module. Being new to these lights would any scout module work with it?

the Halcyon LED modules should work fine.

IIRC, the current Halcyon components are designed to work with the older models that are out there.
