I'm hoping some of you can make me feel better! It seems as I look at the gear I have accumalted, I start feeling a "little guilty" at what I've spent over the years.

3 computers/3 analog sets
8 cylinders
5 regs
5 sets of fins
a rack of wetsuits
dry suit and numerous undies
a bag full of masks
And of course several boxes of extras/gadgets, etc.

And I'm sure I'm not done yet. And already looking for the next thing.
Maybe I need some help ? Buying a pair of new shoes, no way, buying a new set of valves for a couple new al80's, I'm on it !

Like I just posted somewhere else, $30k spent already and I could easily spend another $30k.

No you cannot.

Can you have enough?

Depends on if your wife is a diver or not.

My wife is not, she is sure I have enough. I am not.

You still need a compressor and bank bottles, a booster, many more tanks, at least one rebreather but probably several, and don't forget about the matching scooters for you and your buddy.

That takes care of about the next $50k or so. Let me know when you need the next list.

Oh, you haven't even gotten started yet!

Let's see: 19 regulators, 33 tanks, five dry suits, at least five wetsuits, about a dozen pairs of fins, 5 canister lights, two scooters -- anybody who walks into our basement immediate says, "You've got more gear than most dive shops!" (And that doesn't include the fins, wings and other stuff in our storage locker in MX.)

We should all form a support group....Hi-my name is OldNSalty...I have a problem with buying gear. I have 11 tanks and a box full of regulators...A contributing factor for me is that I live in a warm water spot...I find it so hard to not buy something when I see people practically giving stuff away on craigslist.

I'm just WAY out of the loop:

1 used wetsuit
1 used shortie
1 NEW body suit
1 used reg
1 used BC
1 new fins (& a 2nd pair won at the Treasure Hunt)
1 computer
3 watches (2 broke)
1 new pony bottle
1 new mask (+1 found)
1 pocket weight belt w/suspenders
2 used AL80s
1 used steel 72 (gift)

What do you guys do with all the "extras"?
