without taking things apart?

I just bought a Dive Rite Venture wing and following DR's instructions, I flushed out the water that got into wing during the dive by swashing around some fresh water inside and emptying it a couple of times. There still seems to be a tiny bit of water inside the bladder though and I can't seem to get it out. Is this going to be a problem?

Thank you,

Morty

Hang the wing upside down, so that the hose fitting is at the lowest spot, wait for a day or two, then press the purge button. All the water left in the wing will have migrated to the bottom (inflator) end of the hose and you can empty it by pressing the purge button.
Hope this helps. It does for me.
Dive safe,
Robert

Good suggestion. I've had the same question as Morty. Isn't it funny how the obvious solution sometimes eludes us

Provided you've flushed it out with fresh water, then small amounts of water
(1/4 of a cup) aren't going to be problem, right?

No, you dont want to get all the water out of the wing. As a matter at fact I use mine as a camel pack, just suck the water from the LP inflator. Its nice and refreshing when your thirsty while walking through the jungle.

LOL! Thanks Dude! I never ever thought of that! I figured I was just buying SCUBA gear not an entire outdoor activity pack. This stuff just keeps getting better and better!
