Hopefully this doesn't start a whole new round of arguments, but for the sake of completion -

The final gradient factors chosen were 40/60

Bottom mix 18/60 - dil flush to 18/40 just before leaving bottom, then to 50% at 15 metres

5 minutes for the descent, then 31 minutes on the bottom, and a total surface to surface run time of 147 minutes.

How did it go? Any issues?
What would interest me is if you and your team did notice any topics that might attribute to particularily slower tissues and any issues with those like joints and bones?

Funny by the way I just detected this thread due to your response to it and noticed that you seemed to have checked out half way into the discussion but non of the other prticipants seemed to have noticed and it didn't stop them :)

And the other big question:
When are WE diving this wreck now since the project seems finished ;)
It sounds very interesting :)

We haven't done the project yet - mainly because I injured my neck in a work accident 18 months ago, and it was worse than initially thought so I have been benched for quite a while - finally got a medical clearance yesterday so now I can start progressing things again.

There is still a lot to sort out though - the wreck is in a really really awkward position unfortunately. Really we need a boat with dynamic positioning so it can hold above the wreck but unless we fund and build one then we probably won't have that and not having it is going to make the whole thing a lot more complex.

LOL- yes the thread kind of got to the point where I had the answers/info that I needed and was going further and further away from anything that had a bat's chance of working in the situation we are faced with.

It is certainly going to be interesting - nothing else like it has ever been found and it is going to answer a lot of questions that archaeologists have openly wondered in various books and academic papers etc. - up until now they have had to make "best guesses" based on bits of old ships at ancient ports that have subsequently been turned into doorways of buildings at the ports after they were removed from ships - and even that has often led to new or more questions than answers.
