Anybody know if monprene (TPE) can be patched or repaired? I have a set of Scubapro Seawing Nova Gorilla fins that have split apart at the joint between the foot pocket and the blade. So far I've tried GearAid Aquaseal FD (because I had it on-hand), which didn't last a single dive; and some bungees, which have held for a few dives.

Want to follow-up on this for anyone who has a similar issue in future. After taking that photo, I slathered the entire joint and bungees with some 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant - Fast Cure 5200. I let it cure for two days before diving. On the second dive the Adhesive Sealant split right above the split in the fin, but held in-place around the bungees. The repair held for exactly 125 dives over about four months before giving way and flopping around. I was able to finish that dive without difficulty.

I think there's something positive to be said about the quality of the materials Scubapro uses for their products—not just for these fins—that would enable them to withstand a repair that lasts as long as this one did. So much modern scuba equipment (fins, BCDs, masks, et cetera) is often garbage once broken.
Even better would be having them replace them.
