I have some knee issues and wearing an acebadge does help. Does anyone know if there is issues wearing it durring or after a dive(7 days of diving)?

BTW: The doc approved me to dive.

No, but wouldn't one of the neoprene sports knee supports work better than an ace? You might loose the "stretchy" of an ace bandage.

I was going to use the black knee support by "ace" bandage, but I do not know the proper name so I just called it Ace Bandage.

I was wondering about the constriction below the knee that slows down blood flow and if that can cause dcs

I wore mine skiing all the time. If it really slows blood flow, it's too tight. IMHO.

It's a reasonable concern. I know of some DCS cases where the specific location of the symptoms was felt to be related to constrictive seals or wristbands or harness webbing. But I think the bottom line is that it's better to make the dives conservative and avoid running the edge on no-deco time than it is to worry about the risk from a supportive bandage. I would echo the suggestion for a neoprene wrap, though -- washing Ace bandages does degrade their stretchiness.

Having arthritis in my left knee, I found really soft [SP Twin Jet] fins helped a lot.

I've seen runners clip a small half-inch on the bottom of these things at the calf, and at the top at the thigh, both on the inside (hope you can visualize this). Seems as if relieving the constriction at the very end of the device helps. Can't say this will work in a Scuba application.
