Can an M4/3 setup be as versatile as TG6 for macro & wide?

I spent a bit of time looking at stuff online yesterday. This is a very expensive business, maybe it always was, but I was in denial! If I do go down this path, think I'll stick with macro to avoid demoralisation and disappointment.

What's the story with 90mm lenses vs 60mm for M4/3?

I am a little bit tempted by a TG-7 to keep cost realistic, but haven't been super impressed by the images I've seen. Maybe an operator issue rather than the camera?
As others have said, go with the 4/3. I had the TG-6 (my starter) and did rather well with it. It had an accident and I decided to jump up to the Olympus EM10v4 witg the Backscatter/AOI Octo housing.
The TG6 made Macro SUPER EASY. It also was fun to put the big dome and the fisheye lens and do dramatic CFWA.

But the quality and clarity in the EM10, as long as I did what the camera needs, is fantastic. Being able to use a 60mm really opened up some great great shooting.

I also run the Kraken wet wide lense. Great results!!!
I added the quick bayonet adapters for my wet lenses and can go from Macro, to fish portrait, to CFWA in the same dive.

You CLEARLY have the skill to handle the better camera. The optics are just a great leap forward.
