Can a high quality drysuit be had for close to $1K?

My GF lives in Chicago and you (DRIS) are only 40 minutes away from there, I think I'm going to stop in next time I am up that way.
 
I would say if you are already spending $1000, don't get a back zip suit. It seems OK now, but the need to have someone zip and unzip you gets tired very soon. I went through the learning cycle, went from back zip as first suit to save money, but ended up with front zip short after. I will pick used front zip (assume good condition) over a new back zip any day
