Camera/housing -Manila/PG??

Hi,

I am heading to PG in 5 weeks time. My first trip to the Philippines!!!

I flooded my Camera a few weeks ago in Lembeh.

Are there any Underwater photography shops in Manila /PG that I could get my hands on a camera & housing.
Ideally I would like to place an order on internet and pick up goods when I arrive.
I am looking for the Canon G9 + housing.

I am flying direct to Manila, otherwise I would buy in Singapore

most cameras here do not have international warranty coverage... you might want to buy the stuff where it would be easy for u to utilize the warranty.

personally i suggest you get it in elsewhere. i'm not sure you can get a g9 housing that quick here.

i'll ask a friend from canon philippines just in case.

what's wrong with your original housing? wouldn't you want to just get a replacement camera? there are canon dealers here as well as gray market outlets

but i guess this is the perfect excuse to upgrade hahahahaha

there is a shop in megamall's "computer area" where i saw several canon housings though... don't know if they'd have a G9 housing

You can always call ahead to the Canon shop in Manila (pay by credit card) and have it delivered to your destination.

There are about 20-30 different housings and cameras available in PG at the camera store, I dont know how the prices are though.

...very expensive. checked it out before. can get a better deal in Manila.
