I just tested my Sealife DC 1400 for the first time in Aruba. I'm new to UW photography and this was my first time trying it out. Overall, the camera did a good job. It's definitely made more for photos than for videos especially in low light conditions. Videos start to become choppy with less light (for me it was at under 50 feet I think). This goes for UW and land usage. Other than that, the camera was easy to use, fit my budget and fit my needs being a camera I can use underwater with different modes and on land that fits in my pocket.

The SeaLife DC1600 is out now, same price. HD video.
Note that the SeaLife camera is made for underwater, it is not a land camera stuck into a housing. That means better colors and better compatibility with expansion flash, light, lenses.

Thanks for all the advice and comments everyone! I got a sealife for Christmas! Waiting for uk waters to warm a little then I'll be out and about using it!
