Planning to dive Lake Camanche in California. Used to have large map of the lake with old structures and landmarks, but can't seem to locate it. This is going to be a shore dive...I have heard of a bridge underwater, but that was a boat dive. Does anyone know anything about the old town under Camanche Lake?

I have some friends who went looking for the old town and actually found nothing. They spent a lot of time scootering around at the Launcha Plana site and really found nothing. They did find the old bridge, but nothing else. For a lake, it's a nice dive and in my opinion a much better dive than Folsom. Hope that helps. :)

Thanks i called the north shore office the lady said they haven't had the maps for three years. I remember a car and a tractor near a vineyard. I haven't done a dive at Folsom but from what i hear about Folsom Camanche has to be better. If anybody has the map i would shire love a copy.

I think the plan has changed to stumpy meadows on Sunday you wouldn't know what the water temp is running would you ? Also if you could give me some idea on were to go at the lake and maybe whats down there then I could tell my friends and act like i know what I'm talking about. Thanks again.
