Greetings!

This is my first post on the board and looking for some help with my new Aeris Jetpack. I'm a new diver with a couple of dozen dives under my belt. Love to do more but I live in Canada and I think I'm allergic to cold water. JK I'm fortunate enough to work for a sporting goods company so I am able to get awesome deals on equipment. Currently own a Zeagle Stiletto (love it) but always had my eye on the Jetpack. I travel down south 2-3 times a year and really like the concept of the Jetpack. I just see it as convenient and allows me to pack more in my checked bag (my spouse's clothes I mean) with the BCD on my back as my carry-on. I ended up receiving a new Jetpack two weeks ago (as a gift) and I'm wondering if I should give it a try or sell it. I won't have an opportunity to even give it a try till May or June. Looked at the reviews here and online. Haven't been able to speak to someone that actually has one for their honest feedback and impressions.

Just wondering to those that own a Jetpack or have used one if they like using it or wish they had spent their money on something else. I can always sell it and use the money for other items I'd like to purchase, like a dive computer.

Any feedback, input, suggestions and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Tim

I'm guessing it's possible to get way more stuff into a real carry on compared to the little bit of room you'd save by not having your BCD in checked luggage.

Seems like it would only make sense for someone whose checked luggage is full... but has little carryon luggage. But even that person would probably be better off removing stuff from checked bag and putting it into a real carry on bag.
